Music can be heard all over the theme parks in Orlando whether it be when wandering around the streets of Disney, or the Walk ways of Universal Studios, tunes can be heard setting the scene for the particular area you happen to be visiting at that moment. There are annual concerts and festivals such as Mardi Gras and Rock the Universe at Universal, Night of Joy at the magic Kingdom Walt Disney World, Eat the Beat Concert Series at Epcot and at SeaWorld Viva La Musica and Summer Nights, to name but a few. Each park also has a daily parade with musical treats galore.

A Romantic Photo with Cinderella’s Glass Coach at Walt Disney World’s True Love Week.

Still time to catch a romantic day at the Magic Kingdom in Disney’s special  ‘True Love Week’ where the feeling of romance is spreading throughout the park until February 17th 2013.

Candlelit dinners, romantic photo opportunities by Cinderella’s  Glass Coach, the Rose Walk, the picturesque backdrop by the Wishing Well and many more in the lavishly decorated park. Music and dancing with Princes and Princess’s, hearts and flowers and festive experiences await. 

Super Bowl Celebratory Parade at Walt Disney World Florida 2013.

Mickey Mouse and Joe Flacco the MVP of this years Super Bowl were in a special parade to celebrate the Baltimore Ravens win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Members of Joe Flacco’s family accompanied him amidst balloons, confetti  and cheers from football fans and park guests as they paraded down Main Street USA of the Magic Kingdom.

 

Excitement at The Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World when a Dragon Flew By.

Great excitement was to be had at The Magic Kingdom on December 5th which was part of the official opening of the new Fantasyland Walt Disney World. A ‘DRAGON’ flew above Cinderella’s Castle, surprising guests and giving that extra special Disney magic for all to enjoy. The following day the opening ceremony took place with music and entertainment in the true Disney style.

Safety Cards Featuring Timon and Pumba at Animal Kingdom Park WDW Florida.

Disney came up with a good idea that children will take notice of, ‘Wild about Safety’ cards promoting safety issues at The Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Orlando they feature ‘Timon and Pumba’ the characters from The Lion King movie. Hollywood Studios Florida, Pirate Attraction.

Pirates of the Caribbean fans will be pleased to know that Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Florida is working on a new attraction called ‘Pirates of The Caribbean, The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow,’ guests will be able to immerse themselves into the world of Pirates as they walk through this interactive attraction based on the popular film series.

It is due to open on December 6th 2012 at the site where the ‘Journey into Narnia’ attraction was situated.

Magic Kingdom Restaurant to serve Adult Drinks at Walt Disney World.

At the new ‘Be our Guest’ Restaurant which is due to open at Walt Disney World Florida in November 2012, alcohol will be served for the first time in the Magic Kingdom. The other Disney parks have been serving adult beverages in their restaurants for some time.

At Universal Studios you can also buy beer wine and mixed drinks to consume in their restaurants. Beer stands are also available within the park.

Expansion at Magic Kingdom Florida 2012

The New Fantasyland is already a popular attraction to The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Florida, Storybook Circus is now open, here you can find Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Barnstormer, Casey Junior Splash n Soak Station and Fantasyland Station these attractions to be enjoyed in the thrilling circus atmosphere filled with colour, music and entertainment.

The Enchanted Forest is almost completed and in this land you will be able to experience picturesque landscapes, royal castles and waterfalls feeling the theme of The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, attractions include Ariel's Grotto, Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Be Our Guest Restaurant which recently has announced that reservations can now be made for the opening on November 19th already selling very fast!!

More expansion is to come through to 2014.

Pirate Attraction Opening Soon At Hollywood Studios Florida

Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Florida will be opening a new pirate attraction The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow, it is to be opened in the fall 2012. The idea is for guests to become immersed in the story of the Pirates life imagining and experiencing the World of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Independence Day celebrations in Orlando 2012

Here are a few events that are happening around the Orlando area for 4^th July 2012

Downtown Orlando is holding ‘Fireworks at the Fountain’. At Lake Eola park, there will be entertainment, food, fun and music, starting at 4pm on July 4^th, fireworks at 9.30pm.

In Kissimmee at Lakefront park there will be live music and entertainment, festivities begin at 5.00pm until 9.00pm. Ending with a firework display.

At the City of Celebration through the day their will be parades, entertainment, costume contests, music, food. Fireworks at 9.30 pm.

At the theme parks

The Magic Kingdom has ‘Celebrate America’ with fireworks at 9pm.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has a party atmosphere starting at 6.00pm with music and fun for all ending with fireworks with a rock and roll soundtrack at 9.45 pm.

Epcot’s IllumiNations:‘Reflections of Earth’ will end with a patriotic finale. Performance begins 10pm.

Universal Resort Orlando has it’s ‘Cinesphere’ show which begins at 9.00pm. which has a patriotic ending for Independence Day.
