A list of Height Restrictions at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Florida

Following the response from our blog a few days ago on this subject here is a more detailed list of height requirements.

Any attractions not listed do not require a minimum height to ride.

- Men in Black: Alien Attack – 42 inches. Children between 42-48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

- Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster – 36 inches. Children between 40–48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

- Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit – 51 inches

- E.T. Adventure – 34 inches. Children between 34–38 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

Islands of Adventure

- Jurassic Park River Adventure – 42 inches. Children between 42–48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

- Pteranodon Flyers – 36-56 inches. Adults must be accompanied by a child of these heights to ride.

- Dragon Challenge – 54 inches

- Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls – 44 inches. Children between 44-48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

- Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges – 42 inches. Children between 42-48 inches must be accompanied by and adult.

- Doctor Doom’s Fearfall – 52 inches.

- The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride! – 34 inches. Children between 34-48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – 48 inches.

- Flight of the Hippogriff – 36 inches. 36-48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

How to find the Height Requirements for Theme Parks in Orlando.

Finding out height requirements when planning a vacation to Florida’s theme parks can be a little daunting if you don’t know where to look, however it is a good idea to have this information so that disappointments can be avoided if you have small children who are eager to try the exciting rides and attractions that are on offer.

Dumbo Adventure at WDW Florida

At Walt Disney World Florida’s Magic Kingdom the new Dumbo ride has a way to cut down on waiting, by having an interactive play experience in an air conditioned Circus tent, where guests will be given a pager and called when it’s their turn, this should keep the children amused and happy making the visit to Dumbo a very exciting and pleasant experience. Due to open July 2012.

Live Music at Universal Studios Orlando for the 2012 Summer Concert Series.

The event begins June 9th through to July 14th 2012 at the Music Plaza Stage, Universal Studios Florida.

Artists such as Al Green, Josh Turner, ZZ Top & 3 Doors Down, plus more well known acts will be performing live on Saturday nights.

Universal in Orlando has a new Superstar Parade.

Universal Studios in Florida have a new daily parade causing fun and excitement all along its route with colourful floats, popular characters, street performers, and vibrant music. This twenty five minute show is sure to whip up excitement and fun energy as you visit the many attractions around the theme park.

When visiting the two parks at the Universal Resort Florida there are many exciting rides such as Men in Black, Revenge of the Mummy, The Simpsons Ride, Shrek 4-D, E.T.Adventure, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Cat in the Hat, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, Jurassic Park River Adventure and others, together with shows, play areas, restaurants, shops etc. and don’t forget to stop by at nearby International Drive with it’s own many attractions and places of entertainment.
